Digital Radiography

To offer you the best diagnostic radiography service, our office has been completely digitised. We have the most advanced and sensitive radiography equipment for both intra-oral and extra-oral x-rays. This means:

• up to 90% less radiation exposure
• images appear immediately; no waiting for x-ray development
• we can explain the enlarged images we take on our computer screens
• the images can be enhanced and compared with previous x-rays
• losing images can never happen and printing them for you or specialists is easy

In our front room we have the VATech E-woo PaX Uni-3D Cone CT machine. This means:

• Panoramic or OPG images can be taken immediately and no time is wasted going to a radiology lab
• Frontal and lateral cephalometric images for orthodontic treatment are also taken in-house
• CT scans of wisdom teeth or jaws prior to implant placement for true 3D relationships and more accurate prognosis
