20-9-09 - Implant Open Day October 27th

Cosmic Smile Dental will be holding another information day on dental implants on Tuesday October 27th.

On the day, Dr Jason Pang will discuss dental implants and requirements for their placement. Topics will include types of implants and their uses, requirements for a successful implant, adjuncts and alternatives to implants. Several sessions will be held during the day and an implant patient will be present to answer questions about the treatment they have had and the change that it has made in their lives.

All attendees will receive a brief FREE clinical consult and a FREE OPG to assess bone levels. They will also have a chance to win an iPod Shuffle.

26-06-09 - Digital OPGs now bulk-billed!

With the setup of Cosmic Smile Imaging complete we are now able to offer our patients the clearest, most detailed OPG x-rays at no cost. Lateral cephs, antero-posteriors, submentovertex, wrist x-rays are all bulk billed through Medicare. 3D CT scans are not fully covered but a rebate is available. All x-rays can be taken and viewed at the first appointment to allow for a complete treatment plan, periodontal, wisdom teeth and TMJ assessment. If your dentist has referred you for a dental scan please call 9908 8108 to check for available times.

24-12-08 - New Laser for Christmas

We have just received our Hoya Versawave dental laser that allows us to gently perform a variety of dental procedures on teeth, gum and bone, making your dental experience more comfortable by reducing any anxiety you may have and providing you with a more relaxing dental experience.

Many procedures performed with the laser do not require injections, reducing patient fear and anxiety by creating a more gentle and relaxing atmosphere. 01-08-08 - Cosmic Smile Imaging launched!

The PaX Uni-3D OPG, Ceph and Cone Beam CT machine has been installed and is ready for use. CSI has started taking referrals from local GPs and dentists for all their extraoral digital imaging.
